PURPOSE
We will serve as a meeting time to support Home-school families and allow assembly for growth of friendship, academic and spiritual accountability one day a week.
We will provide an affordable educational resource for the Home School community to maintain a secure vision for academic advancement.
We will utilize a Christian curriculum to promote a Bible based education.
We will promote a Christian World View.
PLAN
Arrow Family Academy will assemble one day a week for families to gather academic resources and passion to provide vision and accountability to promote learning on a secure educational path.
Arrow Family Academy will require all families to participate in their giftings to educate, serve, and secure the functionality of the program.
Arrow Family Academy will work with Love’s Way Church to support their mission and vision for the community by reaching out with service activities.
Arrow Family Academy will assemble on Thursdays from 9:30-3:00 for a 28 week academic year.
Arrow Family Academy will meet for 4 weeks for educational purposes and one week off for service activity and family bonding.
PHILOSOPHY
It is our belief that every student learns in their own and unique way created by a Sovereign Creator for a specific purpose. Arrow Family Academy utilizes Teacher as a guide to homeschool families.
It is our belief to point children in the area of learning and assist them in their growth in that area of expertise as they are naturally and curiously bent.
Arrow Family Academy will present academic instruction and information along with State Guidelines ensuring support for Parents as the ultimate authority of their child’s education.
Arrow Family Academy believes that students are unique learners and will design instruction that empowers all learning types and styles.
It is our philosophy that there are multiple ways to assess a student’s mastery of skill and not only confined to standardized testing but also project-based learning, peer-led activities, oral testing and presentation as well as portfolio assessments.
